I have returned to London for an additional as well-short check out. This time, I was invited by the British Believe in for Ornithology (BTO) to celebrate the publication of their Bird Atlas 2007-2011, and of program, I will attend the Royal Society’s 2013 Winton science guide prize.
These guide-related ceremonies bookend my check out, which leaves me some time in the middle fpr other events. For illustration, today, I am taking a tour of Warner Brothers’ The Generating of Harry Potter: Hogwarts in the Snow. As an avid fan of the books and then later, of the films, I am excited for this tour, despite the expense.
Here is a quick video interview with the trainers who worked with all the animal actors — particularly my favourite, Hedwig the snowy owl (the Animal Actors tour is yet another event that is fairly common):

In addition to the guide-relevant events I have pointed out, here’s some of the other exhibitions I prepare to attend throughout my keep:
The Tate Museum:
National Portrait Gallery:
Museum of London:
Tower of London:
- Following up on the jewel theme and given that I really take pleasure in seeing stones and minerals, I have made a decision that I genuinely should pay a visit to the Royal Crown Jewels
V&A:
Getting a fan of ales and bitters, I will be sipping a few regional brews. (Of program, I am usually interested in going to pubs that have a science theme or exactly where popular writers employed to hang out, too.)
Also thanks to my twitter pals’ tips, I have a list of suggested vegetarian/vegan curry homes to dine at — there is a plethora of such spots that I’ve been investigating close to the Euston Street station. Thanks to a commenter, I now know there’s a couple of vegetarian/vegan south Indian and Sri Lankan restaurants near Tooting that are really worth exploring.
Have I missed any special exhibitions? Do you know of a specific pub or curry property that you consider I have to go to? If so, please do allow me know so I can include it to my (not however overcrowded) schedules!
